Privacy Policy — QALS project site & assistant

Effective: 2026-09-11 · Operator: qalarc (the qalarc.com project pages, including the QALS project at /projects/qals/ and its AI assistant)

Plain-English, no walls of legalese — because there's genuinely little data. Not legal advice.

What we collect

The AI assistant (the "?" button): - The questions you type and the page you were on when you asked - A random per-session conversation id (not linked to you) - A coarse rate-limit fingerprint (IP-based, used only to cap abuse at 20 questions/hour, then discarded)

What happens to it: your question is sent to our AI service (a GLM language-model API operated by Z.ai) to generate an answer, and the question + answer are logged to our concierge system so the team can see what people ask and improve the site. Logs auto-expire after 90 days.

We never ask for, and the assistant never collects: names, emails, accounts, payment details, or anything else. There is nothing to register.

Site analytics

Static hosting logs (Cloudflare) record standard request data (IP, user agent, URL) as part of delivering pages. We don't run third-party analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or fingerprinting scripts.

Cookies

The QALS site sets no cookies. (The separate phone bridge — a private tool on our own network — uses a session token cookie; it's not part of this public site.)

Wallets & keys

The QALS system's wallets and identities are cryptographic — we never hold your keys and there's nothing in them for us to access. No wallet data touches this website.
